Calendar Change with a graphic of September 2024 calendar
The National Weather Service has issued a heat advisory and excessive heat watch for our area until 8 p.m. Tuesday. District 202 uses the following guidelines on days with extremely hot and or humid weather: • Recess/PE outdoors if the heat index is 90 degrees or below • Recess/PE indoors if the heat index is above 95 degrees The heat index takes into account both air temperature and relative humidity. If the heat index is between 91 degrees and 94 degrees principals can decide if students stay inside or go outdoors. Afterschool sports High and middle school athletic directors will communicate any changes to their communities. Please also watch middle and high school social media accounts for updates.
